Stewart Cink shot a one-under in the first round of the Sony Open on Thursday and is in good position to make the cut.

This is great news, if only because it means we may get to see more of the incredible head tan line Cink displayed when he shook hands with his playing partners Marc Leishman and Michael Thompson.

UPDATE: Friday, January 10, 7:02 p.m. ET

Cink acknowledged the recent attention he has received from the tan line and admits that he likes it.

It looks like it might be time for him to take off his hat and give his head a little breather to let some of the light in.

Hat tip to Kyle Porter of CBS Sports' Eye on Golf for the find.
